Corby Macdonald

Vickers Young were established in 2012 by our Managing Director Corby Macdonald. With a wealth of mortgage and protection experience, especially in the self employed and adverse credit market, Corby felt it was time to set up a company that reflected his own ethics of putting the client first and trying our very best to help everyone, even those who may have had a blip in their lives. Still intent on growing the business further, Corby continues to drive the company forward and is looking to expand across the country. Corby is also the Commercial Director for his local Football Club Gresley Rovers, who are famed for reaching Wembley in the FA Vase final in 1991. In his spare time, he likes to collect and research Military medals.

James Wells

Living in Berkshire and after a long career in aviation and with a keen interest in property and investments it only seemed natural to combine my customer service skills with my ability to source the right deals for your individual circumstances, in just about anything to focus on the funding of property and become a fully qualified mortgage and protection broker.
Having been through several house purchases and sales, as well as being a BTL landlord himself, James knows what is required to get the house of your dreams with the least amount of stress as possible. When I’m not working hard helping people realise their dreams in the property world, I can often be found on the golf course or travelling somewhere new and exciting to tick off that all important list - I also have keen interests in motorsport, as well as football.

I know all to well the struggles of buying a home and it's my aim to make the process as smooth as possible for my clients.
Outside of work, I am usually found on the Golf course or at the nearest restaurant.
